By The Power Of The Spirit

Good morning, my friend!  Good morning, Father!  

“For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,” - 2 Corinthians 10:4-5

Lord, today we bring to you our distractions and disappointments.  So many come by way of the enemy for the purpose of getting us off track and stagnating our progress.  Today we purpose to examine our thoughts to determine in believing those things if we are in agreement and partnering with You, or if we are saying “ Yes and amen” to the lies of the deceiver bent on our destruction.  Father, the enemy is devious and crafty.  Within the dung of his lies, he often weaves a glittering thread of truth that causes us to receive the entire dropping as truth.  Reveal the lies of the enemy for what they are, that we can know the truth and be free (John 8:32).  

Lord, I bring my friend before You.  You are their father.  They are Your beloved child.  They are worn out and have been disappointed and distracted by people, places and circumstances.  They have been persecuted and criticized - perhaps even betrayed.  In the name of Jesus we renounce any partnership or agreement with the powers of darkness.  We reject the lying dung of the enemy and agree that he has been found to be a deceiver, a murderer and a thief.  Together in the power of Your Spirit, in the name of Jesus, (Acts 16:18) we shackle and expel every spirit of distraction, deception, disappointment and discouragement, betrayal, persecution, criticism, accusation and lies.  We bind every lingering spirit of depression, fear and grief.  We resist and reject the powers of darkness in the name of Jesus (James 4:7).  Help my friend by the strength of Your Spirit.  By the authority given to us, we release a spirit of joy, courage and hope.  We release blessing, health and healing.  

We stand on the truth of Your Word.  We thank You that as we embrace Your truth, we take hold of freedom.  We thank You that they have a future and a hope.  They are loved and covered in the shadow of Your wings.  Today strengthen their steps as they leave the past in the past and covered in the blood.  Replace the stench of past lies with the fragrance of Christ, as they press on toward the goal to win the prize in Christ Jesus!  (Phil 3:14).  Bless them, Lord!  Bring victory by the power of the cross!  In Jesus Name ❤️

Good morning, my friend!  Good morning, Father! “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” - Deuteronomy 31:6 Lord, we don’t have to be the only one in a room to feel alone.  We can be in a coliseum full of people and still feel lonely.  We feel alone in our skin.  You encourage us to not forsake meeting together as a church (Hebrews 10:25), but it is the internal companionship that keeps us from feeling loneliness in that packed coliseum. Good morning, my friend!  Good morning, Father!   “I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that   I would see the goodness of the Lord in  the land of the living.   Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage,   And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!” - Psalm 27:13-14 Father, we thank You that with You all things are possible.  All around us there are financial troubles, poverty, disease, depression, anxiety, divorces, confusion, disappointment, illness, loss, pain and grief.  The list goes on and on.  People are suffering, Father, and are clinging to the last vestiges of hope.   Lord, I lift up my friend.  You know precisely what weighs on their mind today, and which troubling thoughts strike fear in their heart.  Long seasons of struggle bring with them weariness and discouragement.  I cry out to You on their behalf, Lord.  You are able.  We ask for miracles.  Nothing is too difficult for You.  We ask that You take what the enemy intended for evil
