Fresh Perspective

Good morning, my friend!  Good morning, Father!

“...put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.” - Ephesians 4:22-24

Lord, I lift up this one that I love.  Together, we submit their mind, will and emotions before you.  The events of yesterday tend to tint the lenses through which they view the day today.  Your Word says, “Those who trust in themselves are fools, but those who walk in wisdom are kept safe.” - Proverbs 28:26.  Father, they choose to not rely on themselves, but to come to You asking for wisdom.  They lay their life out before You.  Straighten out skewed perspectives.  Clarify their misunderstandings.  Give them insight and compassion for forgiveness.  Remind them of their past, to soften their heart and prompt mercy and humility.  Remind them of Your faithfulness, to strengthen their courage and solidify their faith.  Forgive them for their frailties, mistakes and frank rebellion.

Bless them with the mind of Christ that they would understand and accept the things of Your Spirit, judge rightly (1 Cor 2:13-16) and shun foolishness.  I pray they seize the day with the heart of Heaven, the apron of a servant and the hands and feet of Jesus.  Heal their brokenness, Lord, by the stripes of Jesus.  Meet their needs and send Your Spirit to be their peace, companion, comforter and guide.  We entrust this day to You.  Where You lead them, they will follow.  In Jesus Name ❤️

Dear friend, are you busy cleaning up a mess created by a poor choice?  Relying on our own judgment, devoid of the Father’s input, can lead to unfortunate circumstances and regret.  He sees You and knows the way to go, and His heart toward you is full of compassion.  Why not open the Word and ask Him to speak into Your situation? 💡
