Coming in the Clouds

Good morning, my friend!  Good morning, Father!

“At that time people will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.” - Mark 13:26

Father, I have read this verse many times - so many times that I have it committed to memory.  This morning You draw my attention to the fact that while I have committed the words to memory, I may have lost the message.  As I read the words, I understand what they say, but with the familiarity comes a complacency and a mundanity that steal from the shocking reality of the message.

There will come a day unlike any other day.  We don’t know if we will be working or resting, awake or asleep.  But a day will come that the Father declares is “That Day.”  The Word talks about people crumbling in fear before a mere angel.  I can only imagine that when the clouds break open and we see our radiant Jesus coming in the clouds, that we will experience the ultimate moment of profound awe, wonder, shock, joy, humility, gratefulness and fear.  Yet not fear as one would experience from expectation of harm, but the paradigm-shifting, mind-blowing, barrier-shattering revelation of the magnitude of disparity between His enormous power and glory and our lack of the same.

Father, I lift my friend before You.  I pray they will live this day mindful of “That Day,” because it just might be.  Father help them to conduct themselves with honor and integrity.  Bless them to live in hope of Your glorious appearing (Titus 2:13) with a fervor to reflect Your likeness.  May they breathe in Your Word and breathe out hope and truth.  Reconnect Your Word with a jaw-dropping, heart-reviving, life-changing revelation that what it says in its fullness is truth.  You are not constrained by time and space.  You gave dictation to Your servants to serve as prophetic historians of what is to come.  Bless Your child, Lord!  May they be prepared, ready and living worthy of the high calling (Eph 4:1) that they will bring You glory and not be ashamed.  Whether today, tomorrow or in a hundred years, we long to see Your appearing.  The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come, Lord Jesus, come!”  In Jesus Name ❤️

Dear friend, have you grown complacent in your thoughts or ways?  Have you allowed your perspective of those things foretold in scripture to be so far in the distance as to be of no effect on your today?  One day will be “That Day.”  Why not ask the Father for fresh perspective, a fresh rhema to your spirit?  💡.
